I’m Jay, better known as Capsun, a UK-based founder, music tech executive and strategic advisor. As a producer and sound designer, my samples have featured in songs with billions of streams worldwide.

My work sits at the intersection of music, creators and technology. I help build products, businesses and strategies that understand how music is actually made and connect with the people making it.

I co-founded Capsun ProAudio, a boutique production and sound design company creating original samples, sounds and presets for music producers and leading music tech companies. Capsun ProAudio was acquired by Splice in 2018.

During my time as Creative Director at Splice, I helped establish and scale its in-house content production into an industry-leading global operation while shaping content strategy and developing new products and experiences for music creators.

I also co-founded 91Vocals, growing it into the leading vocal-focused sample company, with a catalogue of more than 40,000 original sounds and a global network of artists, producers and vocalists.

Today, I advise companies and independent creators across music technology, music creation and AI-assisted creator tools, while continuing to build creator-focused businesses and develop new music projects.
